Students can learn about health-related fitness and should take responsibility for being physically active now and in the future. As a result of their learning in physical education, young minds can increase their enjoyment, confidence and competence in a range of physical activities.
(The students are supposed to wear the P.T uniform according to the timetable).
Please try to ensure that medical appointments are made on off days but if it’s impossible please make an appointment after 12:00 p.m. and fill in the details at the school office.
If your child becomes ill in school we will try to contact you on a nominated contact number, please ensure you notify the school office if any change of phone number or address exists.
Children start school in the August of the academic year when they are 2+years old. It is our requirement that parents should provide a copy of their child’s Birth Certificate when they complete an admission form.
Children in the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) start school on a short-time basis for the first week or two of the term. This enables the faculty to get to know the children and their parents/guardians, establishing those all important relationships. It also helps the children adjust to a new environment, feel secure and settle quickly. All our (EYFS) staff strive to ensure that every child’s needs are met using a personalized learning approach. During the term prior to your child starting in early years, all parents are invited to a ‘Starting School’ meeting, where you and your child will have the opportunity to meet the (EYFS) staff and ask any questions you may have.

We do not have a central lost property box. We do however encourage parents to label their children’s clothes, especially jumpers. If your child does lose an item, please talk to their class teacher as soon as possible.
A Class room is a knowledge hub in which both students and facilitators learn well, where learning is uninterrupted.

FREE School Meals – All students at HSS are entitled for free school meals.
Children have a choice of cooked meals served in school refectory with a fruit, we take care of our children’s healthy eating plate.
This time also provides students with a range of social and engaging activities along with learning general etiquettes, table and eating manners as per Islamic teaching and so on. Energy and fizzy drinks are not allowed in school.
Some of the recipes that have been selected for our menu include:

We are required to set a target for overall absence. If a child’s attendance falls below 90%, parents will be contacted if there is not a reasonable explanation for this. We strive to maintain a good attendance record, but rely heavily on parental support.
If for any reason your child is unwell, please contact the school to let us know as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you, we will telephone/text you that morning to find out why your child is absent. On their return, please write a brief note explaining the reason for their absence, and any details the class teacher may need to know.
A list of school holidays for the current year is available from the school office and the notice board. This list will help you to plan your own holidays to coincide with school holidays as far as possible, thus avoiding any loss of schooling for your child.
We are committed to providing the very best education possible for your child. There is a close link between attendance and progress. Requests for leave of absence in term time should be made, in writing, to the Principal and will only be authorized in exceptional circumstances.
